My Mom has always wanted to see the Biltmore Estate at Christmas time. So this year we were finally able to go. My Mom had her coworker, Carol, join us and Justin came too. We left Florence Friday evening and headed to Asheville, NC.
Saturday was cold and overcast. Our thoughts were to tour the house and gardens first and then head to the winery. Afterwards, we were going to do some shopping in Asheville and come back that night for the candlelight tour. Well, if you have ever been there before, you know we were miscalculating our time. We spent most of the day touring the house and gardens and didn't even make it to the winery. The house was beautiful..and HUGE. The attention to detail was amazing. Justin and I have such a great time and enjoyed a mini-vacation!
