Tabitha's Going Away Party

Tabitha and I met 15+ years ago when she moved to town and we started going to school together. I could write pages about special times together and super fun memories I have with her. She moved to Georgia during high school and eventually found her way back to the beach, but I was headed to Michigan for college. Our relationship has persevered through long distance for perhaps most of the past 10 yrs. I would come visit during the summers from school and even more frequently when I moved closer for graduate school and to live in Florence. But this month, is a sad month for me.

A special man found her in May and she is moving to Michigan to be closer to him. Ironic that she is moving to there, I know. (Shesh, it would have been easier if she met him while I was in college!) She describes him with great joy and happiness that you just can't be anything but happy for her and this new life she is pursuing. So, it was only appropriate to get together for a cook-out to wish her on her way.

Rob is a BIG Detroit tigers fan! And, well, speaking from someone who lived there most of the time for 4 yrs... EVERYONE in Michigan is a BIG Detroit Tigers fan. Appropriately enough, it was a Detroit Tigers themed party.

With burgers, hot dogs, and lots of sides....

Dinah picked up some fun "game napkins"... One set if "hang man" and the other set is the "dot game."
