They don't seem to go far enough to express deep appreciation for another person's gift or blessing. Unfortunately, I am not word savvy nor do I have a deep vocabulary and nor am I unable to truly express my genuine appreciation for another person's act of kindness.
Justin and I were driving back from Myrtle Beach on Sunday when my car broken down. I was rambling on the telephone and Justin was driving when it just shut off. We had it towed and called on some "angels" to come save us from the side of the road. Monday we found out that it needed to be taken to another mechanic to be properly fixed. Another tow bill. The timing belt was broken.
Apparently, the timing belt is supposed to be replaced before it breaks. If it breaks while the car is running, it can cause damage to the engine (I am paraphrasing the mechanic). Fortunately, there was no damage to the car other than the timing belt.
I went to pick up my car today. I asked him how much the total was and he replied it was paid for. Someone anonymously paid for my car to be fixed. I was in such shock, I didn't even try to get him to tell me who. I have ideas.... but I am not going to ask.
