My friend Kimberly and I met when we were high school freshmen. We both were in marching band together and had identical class schedules. In fact, during all four years of high school, we had similar class schedules.
Every class was together except 2.
Kim and I could read each other well. She went to college at Clemson and I left for Central Michigan University. We graduated around the same time and began our lives.
I ran my first 5K two years ago. Kim has never competed in one....or actually even ran for fun.
But she did this year. It was so awesome to be able to do this with her. She trained hard for this and I was so excited to do another 5K.
There were TONS of people there. They closed registration at 900 people.
Kim and I both had good runs and a FABULOUS time!!
